StarBlu Team member reaches Everest Base Camp in aid of charity
Our very own Anne Edmondson from StarBlu, has just returned from a 16 day round trip to reach Everset Base camp. She travelled with the company Gulf4good a local Dubai organisation, in order to raise money for Mission Himalaya, a registered Nepalese charity that provides primary health care, education and nutrition to orphans. http://www.missionhimalaya.org/. This is something close to Anne’s heart and visiting the Mission’s Eco friendly farm, built to house many nepalese orphans on the way back from her trip, will have made the cold, oxygen starved climb all worthwhile, not to mention those majestic views of Everest!
