Thanks to everyone who responded to our competition, and for sharing all your ideas of a critically endangered aquatic animal for us to use for our next print for our environmental intitiative. There were (unfortunately) many to chose from, but we can announce that the 2012 print will feature the humpback whale. This magnificent creature, with its haunting song, is on the endangered species list across the planet. As before, Starblu will pledge 5% of global sales of this print to local charities working to support this species.
Also, we have been thrilled by the response to our 2011 print, the Green turtles, and are delighted to say that we are achieving record sales both in the men and boys sizes of this print. if you havent bought your pair yet, and we are currently sold out of your size, dont despair, a further order is being manufactured at present, due for delivery in the Autumn.
